LDPE and HDPE are polyethylene plastics, characterized by their minimal moisture absorption, extreme strength, and resistance to chemicals. There are two different classes of polyethylene plastics, low density (LDPE) and high density (HDPE). They are classified by their differences in:

Low-Density Polyethylene

There are many benefits of using low-density polyethylene for gasket manufacturing, such as high tear resistance, moisture resistance, strength, and elasticity. LDPE is used in a variety of plastic applications and tends to have less stiffness than HDPE. LDPE is material often used in power cables, plastic 6-pack rings and children’s toys.

High-Density Polyethylene
