Red Rubber FDA Gaskets

Custom Food Grade Silicone Rubber Gaskets

A low cost alternative to natural rubber, Red Rubber is an FDA approved gasket material. A copolymer of styrene and butadiene, the material is non-toxic, non-marking and non-allergenic. Red Rubber conforms to uneven flange surfaces, has superior abrasion resistance and high tensile strength. While FDA Red Rubber is perfect for hold or cold water, it is not ideal for oils, fuels, hydraulic fluid or solvents. Red Rubber is made using FDA approved ingredients per 21CFR177.2600.
